Or: You don’t have to be a celebrity to wear (or afford) one of these (but it’ll make you feel like one)
Inspired by the BurdaStyle Blog entries Warm Up with Faux Fur and Spotted I decided to make this leopard print faux fur jacket. I love animal prints and found this fabric for £5/m so just couldn’t resist. The lining was somewhere in the back of my sewing cupboard so all in all this jacket cost me £10 :-)
I vaguely based the jacket on a pattern from an old Burda magazine but changed the length and drafted a different collar for it. As I’ve been stuck in a bit of a rut recently I’m really pleased with myself for having gotten my act together and sewn this jacket today, especially as I’d never worked with faux fur before!
