The new version of this dress made from silk crepe de chine. There are a few changes made in this version, namely the sweep of the skirt. The original dress had such a large skirt that it was cumbersome to wear and found myself never picking it out of my closet for that reason. For this one I reduced the swing of the skirt a bit and I think it makes for a much more flattering dress.
This is my own pattern, but after many requests for a pattern from the first version, I have made it available for download here . If you make one up, let me know!

I actually loved the first version too, but the less “swing-y” skirt does look like it would be more flattering on a wider variety of body shapes. And of course, the colours on this one are in my favourite blue palette, so I have to say I love this one more! ;-)

Very lovely combination of colors. I like how you chose to expose the zipper rather to hide it. Very cute! :)
