I wanted to make a simple Kasia skirt from jersey at first but as I went along I thought of turning it into a dress. I didn’t want to use a zip so I just added buttons at the top of each shoulder area and that’s it. It’ a bit of a squeeze to get it pass my hips (so I may revert to adding a zip in the end!) but for now it’s okay. The pockets are made from original Liberty print fabric, a bit expensive but worth it!!

I keep stumbling upon your stuff, I’m amazed at how much you’ve progressed since you started sewing (or describing stuff as your first attempt at something). Love this dress, I moved to Australia from Otley and the background was a lovely reminder of home. Great work! (ps sure I saw your artwork on the front cover of mixmag too last month- how far your net is spread :)
