I joined Sew Along for the first time this time! I used this silk satin, and needed to apply a lining to it in order to maintain its shape. I didn’t use the contrasting fabric and used one fabric all over. I shortened the length quite a bit (about 8cm, ~3.1inches) and eliminated the back slit as well. I used the pattern one size bigger than I usually choose, as I wanted to wear this a bit loosely. I used only one pair of buttons on the waist band.
silk satin for the skirt, white cupro for the lining
Thanks, Kasia26 and BurdaStyle!
Thanks my dear friend, kapo, for inspiring me with your Kasia.
