This outfit is made up of the Kasia skirt in mustard and of a blue-green top which is the upper part of the Butterick B4386 pattern with the ruffle detail from the coffee date dress.
The bottom two buttonholes on the skirt were not opened and the buttons were sewn on them. I wanted to make putting on and taking off the skirt easier (less buttons), while keeping the three button column on each side.
The black visible zipper on the back of the top intented to give the outfit a more modern character. (don’t really know if I succeeded)
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
