This Burda issue from October, brings a lot of fabulous patterns, included this exclusive from Karl Lagerfeld, this gorgeous folded front white jacket.
The pattern may look difficult but it isn´t. The trumpet sleeves are a delight to work. they are folded at the top and hold by a button.
I made some changes as always used to do. The buttons were covered with satin for making a contrasting look with the mate structure of the rest of the jacket.
A deep pleat at the back center of the linning.
Even though I cant follow the instructions because my magazines are in Dutch, this is very easy to ensemble, I didnt follow any instruction at all.
It has also 3 folded pockets. I made a little satin handkerchief for the upper pocket.
this is the outcome. It really didnt look as I made it. It is very versatile too, could be wear with jeans and looks gorgeous too!!

Boyohboy, there is someone very quick. Magazine is out for only a few days, and you’re already done. I’m still working on the download shirt from that magazine. The jacket looks really gorgeous. Beautifully crafted.

It looks really neat. I plan on making it, too, but I’m still on the hunt for the perfect fabric. At least I’ve already got the lining. That’s a start I guess.

You should make it really is easy and gorgeous. Dont use thick fabric, maybe flannel would be good. this is actually a very thin fabric so I can wear it on summer and spring too but I have to use interface material for giving it some shape.
