Finally! I finished my Liz after months of it sitting on my UFO bin, I finally got to sewing it. I modified the sleeves a bit and instead of following the instructions, I used bias binding instead and then folded and tacked it inside so it wouldn’t peek out. I also had a hard time with attaching the collar using the instructions provided and I was afraid it was going to be another wadder. Thanks to other member’s reviews for providing insight on how to sew the collar. This was the first shirt I made after a long while, and I am happy how it turned out. Thanks Burdastyle!
soft cotton shirting. blue 1cm buttons. bias binding. 2 different weights of interfacing.

Very cool! And it looks so neat and well done! I think I have to try out Liz myself.

I love the contrasting tartan (aka plaid). Very nice!
