Can I post knitting projects to BurdaStyle? How about sweaters that I’m suuuper proud of? This behemoth took me months. It wasn’t hard – no shaping and easy cables – just a lot of knitting.
I used the pattern Kaide by Norah Gaughan and used Berocco Vintage Chunky instead of the recommended Peruvia Quick. My version has more drape than I think was intended. I still love it.
I’ll post pants next! I promise.
12 balls of Berocco Vintage Chunky, size 8 needles for ribbing, size 10 needles for body.

Exquisitely done! Isn’t there a great satisfaction of completion and wrapping oneself up in the project? Cross-crafting (knitting, sewing, etc.) helps exercise all creative muscles. I always have a project on my needles and a project on my sewing table. I say “Knit on” and will echo another’s cry: “Post away!”

Oh good! I’m the same way. I like the term “cross-crafting.” And yes, I’m obsessed with Ravelry. I should post more in the forums…

Amazing, that looks like alotta knitting! My mom once made me a dress with cables and fair isle bands, it took her a year but it was worth it for her to see my smile, also if you’re looking for primarily knitting websites you should check out ravelry if you havn’t heard of it plus knitting should defintely be posted here. So many sewers knit!

You should be proud! It looks so great on you. All that yarn and effort paid off – definitely. I’m not sure either if Burda is a knitting project site – but Craftsy is. Check it out if you haven’t already. It’s like Burda but for knitting and all other kinds of DIY stuff. http://www.craftsy.com/
