Burda Style For people who sew
Description
A very simple lined straight dress with contrasting hem line and a peter pan collar in green. I use green to add a little pop to it without making it too dull. There is a kiss pleat at the front neckline and a zipper enclosed at the left side.The idea was inspired from a dress in the July issue. I modified it by removing the pockets, shorten the contrasting hem band and added a collar instead of the bow at the front. I then totally lined the dress.
I so created the effect that I want I think the colour totally give the dress a different look. This dress is so my favorite right now because of it simplicity and ease of wearing. I am so pleased with the result.
