I used the jumpsuit pattern… but added/changed some things. I added sleeves. Raised the neckline in the back and front. Instead of putting in a drawstring I used elastic, since I know I’ll always want to wear this with a belt. I’m 5’8’’ and so i added an inch to the top and bottom of the pants… and 2.5’’ to the shirt pieces… but then when I raised the neckline I lost those inches so I’m glad I added them in when I cut the fabric. I don’t know if I read the instructions right but the first ankle cuffs I sewed on were super tight so I cut some a bit longer and sewed them in instead.
It’s harder to get in and out of the jumpsuit because of the sleeves and raised neckline, but not impossible. It’s comfy and I’m glad I made it.
This was my first time altering a pattern to fit my needs and it went better than I expected.
Black Knit Jersey and black wooly nylon thread.
