These are fun to make rice or other dried beans type material, filled juggling cubes. Very easy to make. Takes about an hour to do, hours to learn to use this “toy” and months or years to master.
Under a pound of rice, or lentils, or bird seed, other dried food stuffs like other beans, to fill the bags up. A small funnel to fill the bags easier, hand sewing needles, thread and a small amount of material, under a half a yard. One piece of thin cardboard or one 8 1/2″ × 11″ sheet of card stock, a ruler to make the pattern and a pen to trace the pattern you make. You’ll need a durable fabric like denim or a polyester so it will last for years to come. You could use a machine for this but I didn’t.
