Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This is a simple, straight forward project I made with no pattern.
It is a full circle skirt I cut following the formula posted on Burdastyle. I used this John Kaldor beautiful fabric, that has all the qualities I need. It is not transparent (so it does not need any lining), falls nicely and has the essential colours (red, navy and white). The minty hues simply spices up the colour theme.
I used lace for the hem and ribbon for the waistline.
Sooo festive!
Worn with Gap silk top, own jacket (separate project) and Jones Bootmakers satin and gold leather shoes.
