The moment I got engaged I knew I wanted to make all of my wedding gown, Well I end up not only making my dress, sash, bolero, hair flower and accessories, I also made all my Bridesmaids dresses ( I will post them too!), the groomsman’s vest and pretty much anything I could!
I started with the feel I wanted for my dress, I love lace and tulle so I made a big puffy bottom and a lace top, I crochet the edge of the lace and added some purple tulle to the bottom skirt of the dress to spice it up a little. I made my sash with satin and placed Velcro for a cleaner look.
I loved my dress! It was kind of hard because I was forced to make last minute alterations on my dress due to some unexpected gain of weight, but at the end the dress was super comfortable.
