Our Jonny dress is a perfect day to night transition piece. Smart enough to wear to work and chic enough to wear at night if made in chiffon or satin. We styled Nora in this dress after we shortened them hem line to above the knee and cinched the waist with an elastic belt.
Hint: leave out the lining for the sleeves and use a sheer fabric to slightly reveal the arms for a cocktail look.
BurdaStyle sizes 32-44 self uses 2 5/8 – 3 1/8 yards (2,4 – 2,75 m.) self, contrasting fabric uses 5/8 yards (0,45 m.), lining uses 1 3/8 yards (1,20 m.), interfacing, 9 buttons, 14" invisible zip

I lovelove it !! I’m way way to old & cougarish, to wear the BOOTS. But you ROCK ON and forget about the nay-sayers. They’re in a pout because they didn’t think of it first!

This could look good as a sleeveless dress, maybe worn over a blouse or a sweater!

I love the boots. Can you share the details. I also love the dress! Nice work!

This is one of those scroll-down pictures: everything looks beautiful and glorious, and then you scroll down. However, THIS is a lovely LBD. You can practically take it anywhere!

Nice outfit, great dress but umm… boots. Would have been better with strappies, and not blue. It’s like a massively chic outfit with suede boots!

this is a nice dress! You look beautiful Nora!

who came up with the horrid stocking-shoe combo?? A better pair of shoes could have somehow saved the bold knee-highs, but with blue suede?? no-go!
other than that… the dress is nice.

Would have been better to have someone model that the dress actually fits. Gaping buttonholes in the bust area are never attractive. The shoes and stockings do nothing for the dress and detract from it in my opinion. Looks thrown together instead of thought out

I like the Hitchcock feel of the art direction! The stylised birds in the background definetly contribute to the cinematic reference, not to mention Nora’s elegance.

Wow: Nora has never looked so stunning!

I love this dress. I have had this pattern cut out for so long, just looking for the right fabric for it. A long sleeved dress is just what I need (want) for Spring.

I like it with the shorter hemline. It makes it more modern and youthful
