Little man needed a robe for pajama day. Jonah’s school has once a month a pajama party (basically for an hour or so they get to eat snacks and read in the dark with flashlights…It get’s them excited to read, so I am all for it). The problem is…the class rooms decide what day they want to have pajama party. So since the whole school is not having pj day they kids are told to wear their pj’s UNDER their clothing. We came up with the idea of just bringing a robe to school and he could put it over his day clothes during the party. When we went to our favorite retail shop TARGET they did not have anything cute…So I made him a robe he could be proud of. I used the Simplicity 5931 pattern and have also made myself, my better half and my father robes from the same pattern.
I used no pill fleece. Which is great because it doesn’t fray and you can leave the hems undone and free! (I am sooooo lazy sometimes!)
