I sewed my second Lydia with short sleeves as a part of my sport outfit. I also sewed a pair of culottes using the pattern JJ’s Knit Culottes, with some modifications for making them look more like a short skirt.
an white and a flowery cotton jerseys, both with slightly synthetic fibers blended.

This is soo cute – and I love the way you featured the print fabric on the t-shirt. It makes me want to start jogging – and that is NO mean feat!

So cool! Great combination. How did you finish the neck on Lydia? Did you refashion it from the thrifted T shirt? I need to make some T shirts so any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks! I did cover stitches on the folded neckline as I did on the bottom hem and the sleeve hems. Since the fabric was very soft and stretched well, I had no problem with just folding and pressing to make it flat even at the neckline. I hope it helps, sorry for being late to reply!!! -yos

How cute!! Good for your for jogging. I like the combination, it’s very fresh. Did you use cotton or a special sports fabric?

Thanks keren! The fabrics I used were ordinary cotton jersey, and actually the white one was an over-sized retail T shirt. (I mean, thrifted.) Please visit my blog if you’d like more info.
