Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Joan Dress is very similar to my Vintage Chic Dress. Lower part is the same, sleeves also, but there is no front buttoning.. the dress has zipper fastening on the back. The dress is open around the neck and has a round collar that can be removed. Cuffs are also slightly rounded and removable.
I make the buttonholes on the inside edge of the dress and the sleeves and buttons are stitched on removable collar and cuffs.
I’m not skilled enough with the English language to try to explain with words how I do removable collar and cuffs. I hope the pictures will help you to understand.
Material Notes
Cotton fabric with slightly stretch for more comfort, collar and cuffs made in muslin, cca 16 buttons
