This adorable blouse is the winning entry of our first pattern competition, designed by JJ. It was chosen for its simple yet sophisticated design as well as the patterns adaptability to home sewing. The simple ruffles and delicate puffed sleeves make the top perfect for date night, but the fit and collar make it also perfect to wear to work!

How much fabric does this use? I am so excited to make it! I think I might try to add a tie collar.

Love this blouse. I have some paisley fabric already that I was going to use for another pattern, but I think I will try this one instead. Hope the ruffles aren’t too hard. I am always excited to see what’s new on this site. Thank you so much for providing such wonderful patterns for FREE.

It looks even better than I remembered. Way to go, JJ! By the way, some of the recent patterns have a really broad size range, I’m loving that too. I think it makes Burdastyle patterns even more attractive to a lot of people.
