  Lucky friend! Adorable- and your ruffles are fantastic!! Are the ruffles folded? and stitched along the outside edge? or just folded? They look so clean! Beautiful!

    oh my goodness, I posted this and never looked back. It’s been so long I don’t know if this helps, but you topstitch the ruffles just a wee bit away from the edge. I hand basted the ruffles into place before attaching them with the machine, then pressed carefully before stitching them down (topstitch)
