Description

This is the third time I made a JJ (JJ #1 and JJ#2Modified)

This , I believe, is a better version than JJ#1, simply because I have learned a lot since I made my first JJ.

I actually want to keep this for myself, but nahhh… I made it for my sister. I hope she’ll like it.

Thanks- very helpful!! =) Damn technology. Must remember to feed the mice that run the printer.

I was attempting to do this one this weekend…. but mine printed out a little big. The sqaure (10 by 10) was about 11 and a bit by 11 and a bit. Ok, I know I could just shrink it all (take a while and I am a tad bit lazy) but was wondering if that happend to you to or is my printer just a freak? The pieces are HUGE! A little help would be fab—- its such a cute top. Hope to make it before the nice weather is out!

I think you have to set the Page Scaling to “NONE” when you print it. You can find this in the screen that will pop up after you hit on the print button.

Good thing to do when printing chunked pattern is to look for the page that has the test square and print that first (just that page), so you can experiment on the scaling without wasting too much paper. Hope this helps.

The collar is great and the buttons just make it pop!

thank you, ladies for the comments…

gillthecat, I believe I did not change anything. my sister wants it as it is – ruffles and all.

the only thing that I did not follow on the pattern/instructions is the placement of the 2 inner ruffles. I did not pin them where the markings say they should go. Instead I followed the path of the ruffle on the princess seam making all three ruffles parallel to each other.
