Description

For the top I have used pattern #105 05/2014 as basic, but made an ordinary round neck instead of cowl neck since this fabric was no good for draping. I think the copper fabric was nice together with the grey jersey with copper dots. I had to sew carefully for not breaking any needles..
The jacket is a made from a Burda pattern 05/2004. I’ve used this before, but wanted to give it another try. I like the gathering at the sleeves. I have added plain jersey around the neck and beside the zipper to avoid sewing over the copper dots when inserting the zipper, and I’m happy with the outcome :)

Material Notes

I like both of items very much. The top’s fabrics seems to be different but they match greatly indeed, your intuition and taste are never mistaken. I like the jacket pattern, too, and your interpretaion is wonderful: shining accents on the jacket combine perfectly with the zipper.

Both garments look great! I really like how you combined the fabrics. I like the 5/2004 issue of Burda, it has many nice patterns. I literally just finished making a pullover (mod. 111) from that issue :)
