I initially set out to use some left over fluro green jersey i purchased from a thrift store to make a top, but turns out it was long enough to be a dress and I love it!
I added some pleats on the back to make it look more professional when wearing it out.
I’m a little bummed that the stitching on the back at the top isn’t as straight as i’d like, i even put fusible facing there to stop it from stretching and puckering.. anyway!
fluro green jersey, nautical rope trim, two blue metal nuts

I love the dress, looks like something out of j crew (with the belt), really nice job. If you don’t mind me saying, I would define the hem instead of leaving it un-hemmed. it would give it more of a defined look and more straight look. But please, don’t take offense, I just noticed that, and quite honestly the dress is gorgeous
