Description

I accepted a new challenge to make a wedding dress from jersey so the bride could re-wear it on other occasions. Having never worked with Jersey not even making a t-shirt this was a sharp learning curve and to add to the challange i agreed to make the grooms waistcoat also.

Jersey Dress and front of waistcoat,
iron on interfacing- Jersey front,
silk -sash

    I think you did a great job. I love the concept and the contrast between the 2 fabrics (matte & shinny). It’s so casual, chic and formal at the same time. How clever.

    really clever! i loathe poofy disney princess style wedding dresses. i think you’re really onto something with the casual/re-wearable concept.
