Made this one from Simplicty 2443 (a Cynthia Rowley) but I changed the waist band and added the horizontal folds and also added a lining for the skirt. Used a substantial weight cotton knit for the top, wonderful Liberty Tana Lawn for the skirt (love, love, love Liberty!) and lined the skirt with a lightweight cotton. It has an invisible side zip and side pockets (I also love, love skirts with pockets!)

For the top, I used a thick black and white jersey knit (the same I used in my “Year Round Cardigan” project) and on the bottom a dreamy Liberty Tana Lawn (did I mention that I love Liberty??)

Oooh I love it! I’m using this pattern for my next project so it’s great to see someone else’s interpretation. I was planning on lining the skirt to add fullness, and looking at yours I’ve made the right decision.
I love the stripes with the big floral print! Really cute. Well done.
