This dress was a bit of a nightmare but it was well worth it in the end! the velvet pieces all frayed and I had to overlock ever piece before I sewed them and still ended up with red fluff everywhere!
I love the pattern and it was relatively straight forward to sew, but fitting the dress properly took some time. I found the top section too big and there were several adjustments to be made. I ended up using hooks at the back instead of buttons and didn’t use any interfacing.
I’ve worn the dress out a few times and love it!
