The time has come to ease up on the statement dresses and fill my closet with separates. I LOVE making dresses but I really want a very wearable hand-made wardrobe. Full of pretty blouses and pencil skirts. The fabric is a thick stretch cotton, and a particularly great thrifty find. How could someone chuck this colour out? In yardage too! I sought advice and decided not to line since it holds its own pretty well. I added a couple of inches to the length and would add more next time, to get it just below knee level. I also used an invisible zipper, twice! Grrrrr.
