This is the Jenny dress from Burdastyle in 36, its such a fun pattern to make!
Its from some stretch cotton from Ebay and although its a bit Carmen Miranda i think it might be ok for a hot sunny day (it was about minus 1 degree in the photo!)
The only alterations i made was to raise the hem (actually by accident it went too short but ok), and as i think this pattern is for someone with much bigger bust i had to put a little ribbon straps across the back to keep it on my shoulders! I also out a few stitches in the front just to keep the bust together and stop it from gaping, these seemed to fix the problem
I would recommend this pattern
Stretch cotton from ebay 3 black buttons zip ribbon

Very sweet dress. I am considering this pattern as I think it is so flattering. I have made the Melissa dress which is a similar line and love it so this one may need to be next!

Very nice! I got 2m of the same fabric for my birthday from friends and had troubles imagining it as clothing (I am very bad at that). Great to see it works so well. Might give a top a try.

The style of the dress and the fabric go very well together, and I love the photo! You’re very brave to stand outside in this weather! The things we do for fashion, eh?!
