My inspiration decade was the 30’s and my inspirational image was a 1938 Buick. I created a high-waisted Katharine Hepburn style denim pant with silver topstitching at the waist to reflect the lines of the grill on the car. The tank is a sequin leopard print, and the blouse is a grey silk crinkle chiffon with angel wing sleeves and pintucking across the front to reflect some of the design details of the car. My goal with this ensemble was to invoke a casual-elegant air with modern details.
I used bamboo denim, sequin leopard print, and crinkle chiffon.
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
