Though these were first started (gulp) about 4 years and many miles ago, I’ve finally finished my first pair of jeans. They aren’t perfect, but now I have a starting point to tweak them into the perfect pair.

Wow – the idea of sewing jeans just makes me want to hide under my bed. Sewing a denim skirt was enough to send both me and my machine into “top stitch breakdown”!
You did a fab job – so worth it and they fit you like a dream and now you can (even though they already look perfect to me) perfect the art. I am so impressed Darl! x
PS Gee you look cute in that cloche! x

My machine HATED the thickness. I need to keep at ‘em, so I don’t lose steam and get totally stuck again. Fit okay standing, but kinda snug across the thigh ;)

those dungarees look great!!!! I wouldn’t in a million years try to sew a pair of those- They really are great though- Besides bathing suit shopping, denim jeans are the second on my sh** list of things to buy. I resigned myself to “Lucky” jeans, that’s about the best that it gets!!! You ARE a MACHINE!!!!

I second that! Bathing suits and jeans can send me straight down a tunnel of self-loathing, except expensive CItizens for Humanity. But now I just want to copy them! And you know what else? You’re gorgeous, make yourself a pair of jeans… I’ve seen your skillz with the Bombshell :)

I’m impressed! Jeans seem so intimidating to me. The fit of the backside is really awesome (am I a weirdo for saying that?!). Great job!
