I’ve wanted this kind of thing for ages. A mini skirt with dungaree type straps with pockets on the front. Almost like an apron. I was thinking about what fabric to make it in then I remembered a pair of jeans that I bought (nearly 10 years ago!) that I haven’t worn for ages. They are a black stretch denim with a button fly.
I’m really pleased with how the whole thing turned out. I lopped the legs off the jeans and neatened up the hem of the skirt, then made the straps from the jean legs.
An old pair of black stretch denim jeans.
