Description

This is the dream sewing achievement come true: I made my own jeans.
I drafted the pattern from scratch, used flat felled seams and embroidered the pockets.
All seams have been stitched with red thread.
The buttonhole is made by hand.

The red thread came from my love for the color but also because I could never ever find the Levi’s yellow thread! Instead of struggling with topstitching thread I used a triple stitch and regular thread.

Very kind of you to say they are “perfect”…not exactly though. Being my first pair ever I am very pleased though

Perfect jeans!! Who needs Levis when you can make them yourself so well.

Thanks so much! I think Levi’s still has its place…if only they stopped changing their patterns…
