I made this bag out of old jeans and used scraps from my rainbow dress for the belt. I added a button and button whole. For the handle/strap I used the inside seam and cut two inches of the jean fabric. I straight stitched wrong side and pulled it inside out. Then pressed. Voila.

I went to a clothing swap-o-rama in Venice, Ca and got the inspiration and free old jeans there.
