Description

So Fresh Sew Green Fashion Show – May 15, 2010
The fashion show featured SPU Fashion Design Students’ garments constructed entirely of repurposed fabric, recycled product, organic fabrics and natural materials, as well as local retailers sustainable spring and summer collections.
This was my first runway experience! I had 4 garments in the repurposed fabric section. This dress is made from two men’s button-up shirts, one jean and the other green and gray pinstriped. Sweetheart neckline, textural bodice inspired by the fabric I used, wrap tulip skirt.
Model: Cindy

Sorry if the pictures are hard to see- I’m going to shoot each of these dresses in my next photo shoot and add some clearer pictures. That runway spotlight can wash out some detail.

Nice… the drape across the bust is really pretty.
