Description

A dress I sewed for, and with a friend for new year’s party.

She wanted to be dressed like Marylin, so we had a go. Without pattern. It had to be quick : we spent 7 hours on it. >.<

It turned out well, not perfect, but well.
We’re proud of it anyway !

So….

Happy new year everybody !

I like the shape of the bodice and am wanting to make something just that shape. Did you use a pattern for that part or did you make it up?

I totally made it up, but I would have used a pattern if I had one !
Maybe you can use Afternoon tea top and adjust it ?!

That’s just the pattern I was looking at yesterday to adjust. Good thinking.
