Brooklyn, New Yo...
I made my dress for the party. When drafting the pattern, I was inspired by a 1930s dress day dress pattern I had seen awhile ago. It had a sort of apron looking cut for the body. I modified the shape to be a play on the drop waist and added the flapperesque flair. I paper drafted the pattern and draped the collar, all the seams are sewn with French seams and the edges are all hand sewn. The slip underneath is vintage from The Slipperie, who was also a vendor at the party. I made my flower headband inspired by 1920s and 30s wedding headdresses.
