Description

I was invited to a family affair where all invited had to wear white. I was itching to make something using white recycled bedsheets for the project. I looked high and low for inspiration but could not find anything until I saw the Jason Wu Jumpsuit that Charleze Theron wore to the Gladd Awards about a week ago…. I knew this was the inspiration that I was looking for. I combined two patterns to make this . M6083 and NewLook 6119. I learned so much from this project. 1.Jumpsuits are definitely not that easy to pull off. 2 White is very hard to photograph well.3. Sewing with soft cotton sateen sheets is not that easy. But I am still satisfied because I saw the project through and came very close to my vision.

Thank you. I hope to do more recycling and upcycling in the future.

Thanks. It was a fun challenge. My family could not believe they were sheets either. :)

      Mary,

Thanks for you feedback on the jumpsuit. I really appreciate it. I attempted to reply to you earlier but I think I put it in the wrong place. :)
