Description
A well-dressed man never goes out of style. And what best than a vest to dress that man.
Our Jason Vest works well over button downs, casually over a T-Shirt or underneath a suit jacket.
The vest is slim cut and can further be adjusted with the fastener on the back.
The V-neck Front closes with five buttons and has two pockets on either side.

Can anyone tell me how much of each fabric I need…it says 1 3/8yards but is that for everything (lining and front piece) and if so, can anyone let me know how much of each I need (I’m making a size 50 if that helps)…any advice very gratefully received!!

I am currently making this vest, and i LOVE the pattern, but i feel like the instructions are really vague in comparison to other patterns i’ve purchased via burdastyle :(

I couldn’t agree more with that. I’m currently working on muslin and I’m having the hardest time understanding the later parts of the instructions.

how much material do you buy to make this> this is one thing that I have a hard time finding when i am about to shop for fabric.

Great a waistcoat! I’ll probably make one. It looks a little large on the back though, I think. Perhaps it is just too large for the model and not an issue with the pattern. I like waistcoats quite fitted, after all they should fit under a formal jacket.

Do you think that a lady could wear this too? or would there be some alterations? I like the look of this one rather than the Louisa vest…

I love this pattern! Something else that I was looking for is a pattern for Male Jeans. It is very difficult for me too find any. Any Suggestions?

Wow, this couldn’t have come at a better time, well maybe a few weeks ago… I’m getting married Saturday and have been searching for the perfect vest for my hubby-to-be. Since he is really slim but has wide shoulders it’s been nearly impossible. Now that I have a great looking pattern there may be hope yet! This looks great!

I like it! It’s nice to see a “his” to last weeks “hers” vest. David makes a great model as well. Good job Burdastyle!
