Great pattern from Burda Style – I didn’t have to make any alterations to the pattern – awesome! The only thing I did differently was leave out the sleeve lining and just put a narrow bias binding facing on it to keep it from being too thick, since its quite heavy fabric already. The pattern is really nice with the pleats and full-ish skirt. Totally love it!
Self brocade fabric… that’s about all I know about it.

I’ve been thinking about sewing this dress just some days ago. I made the one on the opposite page of the same magazine as my first dress. But I don’t like it so much on me. This one would fit me much better. :-) Nice job. It also goes really well with the boots and the opaque tights (or leggins?) And nice pictures!

Thanks! It was quite a basic dress to make – I recommend it. That dress section in the magazine was filled with gorgeous dresses!

It’s lovely. Which Burda pattern did you use?
