The Sleeveless blouse from September 2011 in a Japanese umbrella print. This is a quilting cotton purchased 08.15.2012 from Joann’s in Portland, Ore. I also used drab double fold bias tape for the arm holes and the bottom hem to add contrast from the Umbrella print. I also used orange swirl buttons, six in total, also purchased from Joann’s. Took me a day and a half to complete. The technique I had to lean to finish this project is making button holes.
Cotton with Japanese umbrella motif.
