Description

When i discovered this wonderful jacquard fabric, i decided to make a flattering skirt out of it. I didn’t use a pattern, because it is a simple circular skirt with a yoke.
The zipper is hidden behind a contrasting deco seam.

I love the look of the fabric but it was very hard to work with. It’s slippery and fringes like crazy.

Material Notes

synthetic jacquard

wow, i LOVE that dress! I made my semiformal dress out of brocade as well, and i agree it frays a ridiculous amount. Good work though.

    Beautiful!

I’m struggling with a same type of fabric without progress. Now I decided to put on hold, but someday i’ll try again with a better success. Adding a zipper is the biggest problem with my project.
