My only request from a relative’s visit to Japan was a Japanese pattern book- the ones that have the pictures in the front and the traceable patterns in the back. My grandmother and aunt were extremely generous and sent back 4 books! this is my first try at one of the tunics (featured on the cover of that book) in a flowy, busy (chiffon?) print. it’s also my first real project using my serger- i’m in my own personal sewing heaven right now :D
[i also refitted the grey sweater-vest which was larger]
chiffon, zipper, elastic
