Description

People have been making these lately and I thought they looked interesting and very suitable as a bag to take to the upcoming wedding, just big enough for a wallet, a phone, lippie and a hankie (for when I cry buckets). Well, reading some instructions would have helped I’m sure, but no, off I went on my merry way because I know it all…WRONG!!! Suffice to say, I ballsed-up big time on a few occasions, so the end-result is not perfect and it’s all my fault :( The embellishment was very difficult with all those curves and the beading I added didn’t take away from the imperfections, grrr. Is it good enough to use? Probably, but I don’t know if I will because the flaws will just scream at me, “Failure”!

Material Notes

Cotton, beading etc etc…

Difficulty

Intermediate

Yeah, this looks great! And I see ALL of the imperfections on things I make constantly. Don’t let them get the best of you!

LOL. I am SO aware of the deadly “I see too many flaws”. My account is littered with pics of clothes that have moved on because i can see past the imperfections. :)

Good luck on round two then!

Been working on it this weekend. Still haven’t got my sewing machine going, so I’m serging and then handstitching. Takes a while! Now I know how ladies felt when sewing machines were first invented. “It’s a miracle!” :)

      Will finish before August 31.

Have you chosen your pattern for the September challenge yet?

Ah Liliv, that is so sweet, but undeserved. Still, I am not fazed, I will make another and use the instructions next time :)
