Description

I wish I could say I nailed it this time, but I accidentally inverted an alteration to the pattern and basically screwed it up bigtime, so really I’m lucky I even got a wearable pair our of it. After four tries, I finally got a fly installed properly!

Another plain and practical garment to get me through Self Stitched September.

blogged (with full FAIL details) at Tanit-Isis Sews

Material Notes

Stretch denim and Guterman Jeans thread. This thread was significantly nicer to my machine than the Guterman topstitching thread (which is incredibly heavy) that I used for my last several denim items.

Intermediate

just read your blog on this. try backstitching when you start and stop on pockets. that should keep the stitches from ravelling.
