Haha Strawberry Shic.
Okay so I used the Jakob pattern to make a shirt for my boyf, and silly me printed out the pattern without checking the text square so the whole thing was over 10% bigger than it should have been (I know this because I printed the pattern at 89% to get the test square perfect) so I had to do some serious cloth-hacking to get it to fit. This was the first thing I’ve sewn for years since I did textiles in school, so it was challenging but I managed. The damn sleeve facing things were totally bogus though seriously who can do them properly anyway.
Always check your test squares, kiddies.
No one’s too good for test squares.
Also the collar is HUGE on the pattern anyway so if you’re gonna make it make sure you make it smaller than it should be.
Strawberry Cotton got it goin’ on.
