This is a historically accurate pattern drafted for this coat. A classic ‘pirate coat’ style from the 1720’s… Bucket cuffs, huge pockets, braided edges, gold buttons! The coat is fully lined.
The heavy jacquard is a blend of polyester, viscose, and cotton. The lining is polyester habotai. I used a light weight viscose suiting for the pockets, so they are fully capable of hiding your flintlock duelling pistols! The cuffs, pockets flaps, and the front edge are interfaced with a fusible cotton canvas to support the weight of the heavy gold tinted brass buttons.
