My first project for my son.
The pattern was for a toddler, but my son is just 6 months old, so I scaled it down, but not enough so he’s going to have to grow into it (knowing babies it doesn’t take long!)
I was happy with the tidiness of the sewing of this project (nice and easy) I didn’t want to ruin it by doing messy button holes since I’m not so good at them, so i decided to put the buttons on as decorations and did snaps underneath to close the vest. The snaps are more convenient for an infant aswell.
The outer is suiting and the lining is cotton with an aqua/turquoise and white stripes. 2 matching colour buttons.
