This is another dress from the Famous Frocks book. As usual, I had to make some adjustments. Despite a shallow chest alteration, the bodice still tended to bunch up there, so I inserted a piece of boning to keep the front flat. The boning can slide in and out for washing or if/when I change my mind about the need for it. It seems to help it lie right. This dress has pockets, so you know I’ll wear it. Fabric is Japanese cotton from the Contemporary Cloth online store.
This dress was pretty easy to make, but I call it “intermediate” because I found the alterations challenging with the unique neckline.
