Description
I found this fabric at a home decoration store in a big piles of left over curtain fabrics. They sell fabrics for 2,99 euros a piece and often they are about 3 or 4 meters long! They have great heavyweight fabrics and sheer fabrics normaly used for curtains but they make great fabrics for jackets, pants and shiftdresses.
The jacket has a sort of plackets along the neckline. I’m looking for the perfect buttons to sew onto them, but for now it will do without.
I drafted the pattern myself. It’s not perfect, I think it’s a bit to “boxy” so the next time I will make it a bit more fitted, longer and with longer sleeves.
I call it my “Nona” jacket because it has the same colours as my ferret Nona.
Material Notes
Heavyweight something with a little sparkling fiber into it.

Very nice! I think your drafting is just fine; the jacket doesn’t look boxy to me at all. Once you find the perfect buttons, I think you will find that it skims your curves beautifully. You’ve done a lovely job on the contrast piping. Be proud!
