Description

I made this jacket with a cotton twill as the outer layer. Instead of lining it I interlined using a quilting cotton. The second photo shows the technique I used to to bind the interlining and outer layer together to make this neat finish on the inside.
The pattern I made myself. It is not quite my perfect jacket pattern though. This year I plan to perfect a basic jacket pattern. The shape will be similar to this but fit me slightly differently.
I love the wood buttons, the flaps over the pockets, and the 3/4 length sleeves.

This is lovely! I suspect you’ll get a lot of wear out of this because it is so versatile.
