This is my Halloween Costume. It’s not easy to walk in, and I can’t sit, but one must suffer for one’s art! I love the playful potential of Halloween. Talking, moving ice cream cone? Now that’s my idea of entertainment! I guess it appeals to the big kid in me, and I love to make people laugh.
I used a plastic garbage can lid (to form the top of the ice cream), a plastic saucer (formerly under a garden pot—as the top of the cone), duct tape, hot glue, chicken wire, quilt batting, cardboard, cotton stretch material, paint, pipe cleaners, plastic mesh and felt.
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
